Sample Itinerary

Day 1

Departure from your closest International airport to Greece. Due to the time differences with Europe, your arrival will be the following day.

Day 2

Arrival in Athens International airport. Meeting with your bilingual tour manager who will remain with you through all the tour and transfer to Athens for orientation tour of the main attraction of the city with your tour manager (no guided visit). “The Acropolis of Athens and its monuments are universal symbols of the classical spirit and civilization and form the greatest architectural and artistic complex bequeathed by Greek Antiquity to the world. The most important monuments were built during that time: the Parthenon, built by Ictinus, the Erechtheon, the Propylaea, the monumental entrance to the Acropolis and the small temple Athena Nike”.

At the end, check in at your selected hotel in

Day 3

  • After breakfast, meet your local guide and enjoy a walking guided visit of this fascinating city
  • On conclusion free time for shopping, relax or extra visits. Lunch will be on your own
  • This afternoon, transfer to a local sport complex to play your 1st friendly game against a local club
  • Pre-game or post-game dinner at hotel, depending on the game starting time
  • Overnight at your selected hotel

(Bus is available 4 hours in the morning for the Athens city tour. Bus will be available again for the round rip transfer from the hotel to the local sport complex for the game)

Day 4

Breakfast at the hotel

Departure at 9.00 a.m. to Delphi.

Full day city tour with a local

professional guide

“Delphi is both an archaeological site and a modern town in Greece on the south - western spur of Mount Parnassus in the valley of Phocis. In myths, the site of Delphi was believed to be determined by Zeus when he sought to find the center of his "Grandmother Earth". He sent two eagles flying from the eastern and western extremities, and the path of the eagles crossed over Delphi where the omphalos, or navel of Gaia was found.”

Training session in a local complex with your own coaches

Dinner at your selected hotel and overnight

Day 5

After breakfast, transfer to the Acropolis and guided visit of it and the local Museum.

Following, visit the Old Agora.

A local professional guide will stay with you during the visit

Lunch will be on your own

In afternoon, transfer to a local sport complex to play your 2nd friendly game against a local club

Pre-game or post-game dinner at hotel, depending on game starting time

Overnight at your selected hotel

(Bus is available 4hours in the morning. Bus will be available again for the roundtrip transfer from the hotel to the local sport complex for the game)

Day 6

Breakfast and full day city tour with local tour guide in Olympia

“The first major excavation of Olympia began in 1875, funded by the German government. Important finds included sculptures from the Temple of Zeus, the Nike of Paeonius, the Hermes of Praxiteles and many bronzes. In total 14,000 objects were recorded. The finds were displayed in a museum on the site.”

Day 7

Breakfast and half day guided visit of Cape Sounio and Temple of Neptune with a local professional guide

Lunch will be on your own and rest of the day free for personal exploration of the area.

Later transfer back to a local sport complex of Athens area to play your 3rd friendly game against a local club

Pre-game or post-game dinner  at hotel, depending on the match’s time

Overnight at your selected hotel

(Bus is available 6 hours today. Bus will be available again for the roundtrip transfer from the hotel to the local sport complex for the game)

Day 8

After breakfast day at leisure for possible additional visits or shopping

Lunch on your own

Time at leisure for your final activities in Athens

Optional (not included): full day tour in Argolide (Corinto, Epidaurus, Nauplia, and Micene)

In the evening, transfer by walk to a typical Greek Taverna  for your farewell  dinner tasting the typical food and breathing the typical Greek atmosphere.  (Dinner with show, Greek music).

Departure to Athens international airport in time to catch yourflight back home
