Megan has been involved with AIST since 2005 coaching our select teams. In addition to our select teams, she has taken her former John’s Hopkins Field Hockey team on 4 tours with AIST.
Megan Callahan was named head coach of Goucher College's field hockey program in July 2024, bringing over 20 years of coaching experience. Previously, she led Johns Hopkins University’s field hockey team from 1997 to 2016, becoming the winningest coach in the program's history with a 223-160 record, five NCAA tournament appearances, and three Centennial Conference championships.
Callahan has coached 66 All-Centennial Conference selections, 38 All-Region players, and nine All-Americans. Since 2019, she has coached at Hymax Field Hockey Club and previously served as Director of Athletics at St. Timothy's School.
Internationally, she has been a member of the USA Field Hockey Masters team since 2014, earning bronze at the 2024 WMH Master's World Cup. A University of Maryland alumna, she played on the 1993 national championship team. Callahan's extensive experience and leadership are set to guide Goucher's program to new heights.
